  3. Hi babe! I am so anxious to hear all about the home building time, the people you are meeting and how the whole team is doing. This is a little more nerve wracking on me with both you and Brielle gone 😬 It’s hard to not know how you are both doing. I am praying constantly for both of you and the team. So please Blog, ok!
I know you heard about Romey’s court date but Kerry talked to the new caseworker this morning and she said that her and Michele have already contacted the adoption agency and started paperwork so yay it sounds like they are on top of it!
The boys are doing well. They are at Route 252 right now. We went to Brock’s game last night. He played really well but unfortunately they lost. But they gave Ryan a really cool speech and plaque right before the game for his 300th win. That’s about it on our for now.
I hope you are sleeping well! I hope to hear from you soon.
    I love you,
    Sharla

    1. Hey Shar! Glad to hear you and the boys are well, and I am happy to hear about Romey’s news too. Hopefully they can get through the red tape quickly. Thank you for taking care of things at home while Bri and I are here, it has been wonderful to experience this with her. Although different in some ways, overall it has been the same as our previous experiences here together. Tonight was the hardest thus far for both of us I would say returning to the base. We had a great time building the home together and our family was awesome. Keep us covered in prayer, excited to see you.

  5. Mike, thanks for being willing to keep on eye on our kids for us. That’s a lot to handle since we sent the biggest troublemakers with you! I hope that you and Ross don’t have to spend all your time fixing vans and can enjoy the trip with your daughters. Brielle will remember it forever. We are praying for you!

Praying for you and the team this week! Can’t wait to hear how the dedications went today. I prayed over each name, that they would receive Christ! Hope many more will come to know Him thru the medical clinics also.
Thanks for making this trip again and being Christ’s hands and feet to all you meet, Guatemalans and Americans.
    Love, Nancy

  8. Mike,
I actually got tears running down my face as I read both of your blogs! It is so good to finally hear from you! What an amazing experience it sounds like so far! I am glad it went so well in the village and yay God that everyone accepted Christ! Not everyone can say that from their trips. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the stories and see pictures. It sounds like you men are an awesome tribe around Scott. I knew you would be! Keep blogging because I want to hear from you.
The boys and I are doing well (although missing you big time!) I think we are going to a trampoline park tonight. The boys are so excited!
Max has been super restless. He has spent most of his time (especially at night) in front of the windows and in the living room. No one can tell me that dogs are dumb, he is definitely waiting for you both to come home!
Yes, exciting news about Romey. He will be here in an hour or so for the weekend. He has said Dadda a couple of times so he is trying to figure out where you are too! The caseworker talked to Kerry on Thursday and her and Michele have been working hard already to get this done quickly. They contacted the adoption agency and started the paperwork so I am praying it can be settled by the end of March so John and Kerry don’t have to re/file.
Don’t you worry, I am thinking about you all constantly and praying constantly!
    I love you!

    1. Hey Shar! Thanks for the post, it is great to hear from you too. I will wait to share stories in person, but the spirit of God has certainly moved for the team. My prayer is still that this won’t be a one week thing for any! Max is certainly not dumb, amazing how much they know what is going on, and Romey too! Glad, he misses me. Hope the boys had fun on the tramps, sounds like you are keeping them busy. I miss all of you, wish you were here with me actually. See you soon.

    1. Great to hear from you Dad! And thank you so much for the prayers, they have been needed. We have seen many come to know the lord and equally as important I have seen many on the team be deeply impacted. We had a wonderful clinic last night, very intimate setting and grateful people. Today should be great as well. Please keep praying, and I look forward to seeing you both soon! Love you.

  11. Good morning! I am waiting anxiously to hear more details about the medical clinic last night. Where was the village? Ross said it was colder but that’s all I heard so far. Did they welcome you in? How were the people, did anyone accept Christ? How is the team doing, is everyone be staying healthy? Sorry for so many questions but you and Brielle aren’t doing a great job blogging 🙄 especially for this lady who wants to hear details!

The boys (all of them:) Markie, Brycen and I went to Air Time last night and got the unlimited jump package. They had so much fun! They wanted to stay until 11:00 but 9:45 was pushing it for Romey 😊
I hope to hear from you soon!

    I love you!
