Praying the heat subsidies a little for you!
It’s been hot thats for sure! Cooler now by the base. Our village was not far from the Pacific Ocean. If you looked real hard you could see it way out on the horizon. It was a beautiful village with lots of banana, mango and plantain trees. Coffee plants too! Beautiful people! Wish you were here too, but God has you exactly where you are supposed to be dear friend! Love you and see you soon!!
Hey Sis, I am so glad God has taken you out of the being just the ” Traverse City will give me anxiety” girl to a super mission trip warrior.. we all have been praying for each one of you daily and we feel so blessed to be doing this life together with you.. Seth is doing great! And of course all the kids love him!! He has experienced a lot this week! This trip has presented new challenges, but with God’s strength leading us we are navigating. HI All! We made it back to the base just before 9pm tonight (Thursday) Words cant quite describe the van rides to and from Los Latos. PBM van rides can be epic and no exception on this one! The village was amazing!! Not a lot of time to post tonight as we returned late and need to shower and settle in at the base. But a quick word to let you know we are all healthy and safe. Many amazing God moments! The Holy Spirit is as strong as ever here but so is the enemy who wants to slow us down. But we are strong warriors!! Keep praying us through the week! Lots to do yet. We would love prayers for continued health and strength!!

Hi Mom! We are so thankful for your help this week so that we could experience this trip. Things are going well. We are tired but still strong! God strength! Seth had an amazing night last night at the medical clinic. His heart broke wide open for Jesus! He met a Guatemalan boy who was also 15 and he spent hours kicking a soccer ball around with him. At the end of the night his friend accepted Jesus into his heart in part because of the love and friendship Seth showed him all day. Such a special night. Thank you for your prayers and we will see you soon! Love you!

God is faithful, amazing and sovereign that we surely know. The family we built for was so amazing, truly orchestrated by God. It is so cool to hear little tidbits of each persons experience as I read the blogs. I am so glad everyone is staying healthy and for the strength and stamina God is giving Scott! And what an awesome story about Seth! God is so good to personalize our experiences for each person. I bet Seth is growing so much spiritually through this trip but also through experiencing this with his amazing parents. I am wishing so often that I could be experiencing this with all of you but as I watch little Romey right now, I know God has other plans this time! I am continuing to pray for health, strength, stamina, barriers to be broken and most of all for Miracles! They are coming my friend, I feel it in every fiber of my being.

Oh Sharla! I cant even begin to tell you how powerful this trip has been. Especially for this amazing group of young people. They are truly amazing and God is working in their hearts! They will come away from this forever changed in the most amazing way. Very powerful prayer tonight in the village with the villagers, the village pastor, hermano Jesus and our whole team praying over Scott, Esuardo and Britt. Words can’t really describe it. Ive never experienced anything like it. I soooo look forward to seeing you when I get home and talking to you about this trip. Its late, just back from the medical clinin a little after 11pm. So tired!! Just physically and emotionally drained… but in a good way! You my friend are exactly where you need to be! I am so happy about the update on beautiful Romey! God is doing great things! Faith like a mustard seed, friend. Faith like a mustard seed! Most times I feel its really all I have but just look what God does with it!! He is so faithful!! Last night Sharla sent out a text saying she felt a strong sense that we needed to pray for Scott at that exact time. I guarantee it was right around that same that Scott, Britt, and Esuardo were being prayed over!! We cannot wait to hear all about this amazing trip and all that God has done. Kevin shared with us about the medical clinic the night before and how the girls rallied around Seth. God sure has blessed us all with quite the amazing group of teenagers!!! Love you so much girl and we can’t wait to see you guys when you get off the plane….and I’ll have a beautiful sweet girl with me that I know will be even more excited to see you!!!
Jaime! That gives me chills! It was very chilly at the medical clinic last night and after that prayer I kept asking Scott if he needed his coat (because he chills easily) and he kept telling me no because he was so hot!! The fire of the Holy Spirit is alive and well. Praying for the manifesting of his healing today! Yes, the first medical clinic was powerful with Scott sharing testimony and just the power of the Holy Spirit. Those girls loved on Seth with such and amazing Godly love. These kids have bonded and forever are brother and sisters in Christ! It is always a little hard to leave as you just want to keep spreading the love of Jesus to these amazing beautiful people. But I am ready to see Molly and Jake. Miss my kiddos at home tons. Can’t wait to see you guys!!! Thank you for being a bonus mom to Molly and bringing her along. Bonus moms are awesome! And Seth has surely bonded with his bonus dads and has a new brother in Josh Modderman. 🙂
hi there! I can’t tell you how excited I am to sit down with you after you get home! Jamie shared a little that has been shared with her about how the teens (well, everybody 😉 are feeling so impacted by your time there. What an indescribable blessing that is for you all. Praying that you continue to feel God moving in ways you never have before and that those things can be carried with you as get ready to travel back to “normal life”. Wow, that is totally God that Hermano Jesus and the village pastor prayed with all 3 of them. It just gives me chills. That mustard seed faith is all God asks of us so anything else is just a bonus faith! Thanks for sharing more we are devouring everything everyone is sharing, it’s our way of experiencing it with you all! I know it is so hard to leave because it is such a spiritual high but now you get bring that Holy fire back here and watch how God will work all around you. I can’t wait to hear more and praying you all through final devo night!

Last night Sharla sent out a text saying she felt a strong sense that we needed to pray for Scott at that exact time. I guarantee it was right around that same that Scott, Britt, and Esuardo were being prayed over!! We cannot wait to hear all about this amazing trip and all that God has done. Kevin shared with us about the medical clinic the night before and how the girls rallied around Seth. God sure has blessed us all with quite the amazing group of teenagers!!! Love you so much girl and we can’t wait to see you guys when you get off the plane….and I’ll have a beautiful sweet girl with me that I know will be even more excited to see you!!!

Jaime! That gives me chills! It was very chilly at the medical clinic last night and after that prayer I kept asking Scott if he needed his coat (because he chills easily) and he kept telling me no because he was so hot!! The fire of the Holy Spirit is alive and well. Praying for the manifesting of his healing today! Yes, the first medical clinic was powerful with Scott sharing testimony and just the power of the Holy Spirit. Those girls loved on Seth with such and amazing Godly love. These kids have bonded and forever are brother and sisters in Christ! It is always a little hard to leave as you just want to keep spreading the love of Jesus to these amazing beautiful people. But I am ready to see Molly and Jake. Miss my kiddos at home tons. Can’t wait to see you guys!!! Thank you for being a bonus mom to Molly and bringing her along. Bonus moms are awesome! And Seth has surely bonded with his bonus dads and has a new brother in Josh Modderman. 🙂

hi there! I can’t tell you how excited I am to sit down with you after you get home! Jamie shared a little that has been shared with her about how the teens (well, everybody 😉 are feeling so impacted by your time there. What an indescribable blessing that is for you all. Praying that you continue to feel God moving in ways you never have before and that those things can be carried with you as get ready to travel back to “normal life”. Yes, please pray us home. you know how the enemy wants to hit as we leave these experiences and after the work we have done for the kingdom. Fervent prayers of protection would be a huge blessing. Wow, that is totally God that Hermano Jesus and the village pastor prayed with all 3 of them. It just gives me chills. That mustard seed faith is all God asks of us so anything else is just a bonus faith! Thanks for sharing more we are devouring everything everyone is sharing, it’s our way of experiencing it with you all! I know it is so hard to leave because it is such a spiritual high but now you get bring that Holy fire back here and watch how God will work all around you. I can’t wait to hear more and praying you all through final devo night!
